New EFP Treasurer announced

As many readers will already know, Mrs Maureen Birks stepped down as EFP Treasurer at the start of the year. Maureen did an excellent job for the last two and half years, for which she has our sincere thanks.
The new EFP treasurer will be known to many of you already. Ken Shappcott – also from Burnley – took over from Maureen at the beginning of the year. Ken is a true nationalist of long-standing and, like all EFP officials, Ken will do this very important job as a volunteer and take no payment (apart from minimum expenses).
