Michael Easter 1935-2022

It was with great sadness that we heard the news of death of Mike Easter last week aged 87.

Mike joined the National Front in 1976 (one year before me) and later followed John Tyndall first into the New NF in 1981 and then into the British National Party as a founder member in 1982 (also like me).

I first remember meeting Mike with his good friend Geoff Burnett (also from Tonbridge in Kent) at the BNPs St. George’s Day march through central London in April 1982. The theme of the march was “Keep the Falklands British”.

To be honest Mike was not a big fan of H&D (although he did subscribe for a while around ten years ago), and his outlook on nationalism was different to ours.

However, he was a longstanding dedicated British nationalist, even actively leafleting with his local Kent NF group well into his 80s.

Mike Easter (above far right) set a fine example for all British nationalists – leafleting with his local NF group in Kent well into his 80s.

Mike will be sorely missed by his big family, his friends and comrades in the NF and in the wider nationalist community.

Mark Cotterill, Editor, Heritage and Destiny.

A full obituary for Mike Easter can be found on the NF website.
