Casino politics and lack of honour – Sunak’s Tories and Farage’s Reform UK show they are unfit for office
Rishi Sunak’s Conservatives and their main challenger on the ‘right’ – Reform UK leader Nigel Farage – have dragged UK politics to a new low: a level of dishonour that combines farce and tragedy.
First the farce. Every day now brings a fresh story of senior Tory officials, MPs, or others in close contact with the Prime Minister, having placed bets on the election date. Now of course all this could be pure coincidence and they might not have been acting on inside information! Police investigations must eventually establish the truth.
What we already know for certain, is that had these people been professional footballers or involved in the management of a football club, and had placed bets on football, they would automatically face a lengthy ban, regardless of whether it could be ‘proven’ that they had cheated in any way.
The reason should be obvious. But for those close to Rishi Sunak, their first thought as the election approached wasn’t “how can I apologise to the British people for the mistakes of the past five years, and promise to do better if re-elected?” No – their first thought was: “how can I line my pockets for one more time, before being turfed out of office?”
With the Tories in total collapse, it’s understandable that many lifelong Tory voters are turning to Nigel Farage and his apparently radical ‘right-wing’ party, Reform UK.
But the truth is that Farage himself is dishonourable on a level that dwarfs the petty cheating and incompetence of Sunak’s team.
During and immediately after the Second World War, a new stereotype entered British culture and was often portrayed in comedy shows of that era. The “spiv” was a man who sought to make a fast profit out of others’ misfortunes, in an age of rationing and shortages. In real life, a disproportionate number of “spivs” were Jews – as was well known to the public at the time and has been established by modern historical research.
Following the so-called “big bang” liberalisation of the City of London in the mid-1980s, a new generation of spivs entered British life. While most of these operated within the law, they also operated with absolutely no regard for the UK’s national interest. The young Rishi Sunak profited from hedge fund speculations against UK banks during the financial crisis of the 2000s. And long before that, Nigel Farage’s first career was in the London Metals Exchange: his career was only modestly successful compared to Sunak’s, and eventually his commodities brokerage Farage Limited went bankrupt.
Farage’s blatantly dishonest spivvery has been in the political rather than the financial world.
His biggest con is his pretence of being anti-immigration. The slavishly pro-Farage channel GB News and much of the press have collaborated in this deception – but the truth is that Farage has always “welcomed immigration”, as he once told the European Parliament. Farage’s team promoted the idea of Brexit to UK-based Indians (including restaurant owners) on the basis that leaving the EU would mean that the UK could replace European workers with Indian, Bangladeshi and Pakistani workers.
And so it has turned out: with an extra helping of Africans added on top.
Farage and Reform UK now promise not to end immigration, still less to reverse the tide of immigration, but only to have a “one in, one out” policy: which of course would mean for the most part replacing White Britons and Europeans with non-White immigrants. Last year, for example, this Reform UK policy would have meant admitting 600,000 migrants.
None of this should come as any surprise. Farage is fundamentally committed to the toxic ideology of “free market” capitalism, which is essentially anti-nationalist, pro-immigration, and anti-White.
Those who are serious about ending immigration have two parties who fortunately are not standing against each other, and who in a small number of constituencies are offering voters a genuine patriotic alternative – the British Democrats and the English Democrats. Each of these parties is run by honest leaders who are genuinely committed on the immigration issue. Unfortunately they are standing in fewer than twenty constituencies, but they are sending a clear signal of the direction that UK politics could and should take in the post-Conservative era.
Could Farage and Reform UK be at least a step in the right direction?
No: because they are basically crooked.
Even aside from the immigration issue, Farage has shown himself to be untrustworthy on two other central issues of 2024.
Just a few weeks ago, Reform UK entered a pact with Traditional Unionist Voice, the party led by Jim Allister KC which promises to take Northern Ireland along with the rest of the UK into a genuine Brexit, rather than allowing a border in the Irish Sea – a trade barrier separating one part of the UK from the rest.
This sea border has come about because of a treacherous deal negotiated by Rishi Sunak’s government with the misnamed ‘Democratic Unionist Party’ earlier this year. At first it seemed that Reform UK agreed with TUV on a common platform of a real Brexit and no sea border. A pact was publicly announced on this basis.
But no sooner had the campaign begun than Nigel Farage unilaterally tore up this pact. In two constituencies – including the one being contested by TUV leader Jim Allister – Farage instead endorsed DUP candidates and betrayed his supposed TUV allies.
Quite incredibly, Farage was thus endorsing two of the very people who sold out Brexit and sold out the people of Northern Ireland.
He was able to do this because Reform UK has no genuine existence as a political party. It is a business rather than a constitutional party, and as the owner of that business, Farage can do whatever he likes.
He can issue a manifesto whose tax promises are the most dishonest and innumerate of any party; he can recruit or expel candidates on a whim; and he can make up policy as he goes along, to impress his gullible target audience of ageing reactionaries.
And now Farage has committed his foulest betrayal. Not content with betraying White Britons over immigration, and not content with betraying his erstwhile allies in Ulster, Farage now betrays those who are fighting at Europe’s frontier, those who are paying the ultimate price to defend their nation from Kremlin aggression.
Again, this came as no surprise to long-term Farage-watchers. He has for more than a decade been the most dangerous type of Putinist propagandist.
As serious historical students of propaganda know, the most insidious propagandists are not those who blatantly endorse every aspect of those whose interests they (deliberately or otherwise) serve.
Whether in the Second World War or the Cold War, the greatest success for a professional propaganda agency was to get someone to parrot treachery without it being obvious treachery. Thus, communist dupes in the West didn’t openly call for surrendering to Stalin, Khrushchev or Brezhnev – they called for “peace”. Moscow’s front organisations often had names such as “World Peace Council”.
Moreover, it’s been a longstanding practice of invaders and their proxies to call for “peace”, once their initial advances have ground to a halt. “Peace” of this sort rewards the invader and allows his forces to become firmly entrenched.
Those propagandising for an aggressor will do anything to avoid the central issue. They will point fingers in every direction, sometimes contradicting themselves, but always seeking to undermine firm action against the invader. And they will ignore basic historical and political facts.
So it has been with Farage. During 2010-14 (at a time when he was a relatively minor figure in UK politics) the then UKIP leader appeared seventeen times on Putin’s propaganda channel Russia Today.
RT itself was proud to claim that Farage “has been known far longer to the RT audience than to most of the British electorate”.
And he swiftly rewarded his Moscow friends. During an earlier Ukraine crisis in 2014, when Putin grabbed Crimea, Farage typically maintained that the Kremlin despot had been “provoked” and absurdly insisted that the European Union had “blood on its hands in Ukraine”.
The reality was (and is) that NATO and the EU had been far too weak, and it was their unwillingness to risk “provoking” Putin a few years earlier, when they failed to respond to appeals from Ukrainian nationalists for an alliance against Moscow, that encouraged Putin’s imperialism.
Ever since then, Farage’s cynical tactic has been to utter a few words distancing himself from Putin’s dictatorial behaviour, but then going on to endorse his foreign policy.
In 2014, asked which world leader he most admired, Farage replied: “as an operator”, Putin.
His short-lived successor as UKIP leader, Diane James, went further, describing Putin as one of her political “heroes”. Yet another UKIP leader, Paul Nuttall, agreed that Putin was “generally getting it right in many areas”.
In 2017 Farage again made token comments distancing himself from Putin’s imprisonment of journalists, etc., before saying that Putin was “a strong national leader”.
In 2018 speaking to an interviewer from Newsweek magazine, Farage was even more explicit in his policy of surrender to the Kremlin: “We would have done better to recognize that there are some big issues on which we have a shared interest with Russia. Instead, our foreign policy approach to Russia has been very confrontational.”
Following Putin’s notorious interview with Tucker Carlson earlier this year, Farage argued that the West should have discussed a “deal” with Putin immediately after the invasion. In other words, right from day one, Farage’s policy was not to resist the invader. His policy instead was one of craven surrender: a “deal”.
Absurdly, Farage’s argument was (and remains) that “our foreign policy approach to Russia has been very confrontational.” Not that the Kremlin was being “confrontational” by invading its neighbour, but that others had been “confrontational” in not bowing to Putin’s expansionist agenda.
Last week during his interview with the BBC’s Nick Robinson, Farage expanded on this theory.
We must remember that Farage is a man of limited formal education. He has never studied Russian or Ukrainian history; he has no personal experience of the region; and he has absolutely no academic training in military history, intelligence history, or strategic studies.
Yet like golf club reactionaries everywhere, as they prop up the bar and regale their fellow Rotarians, Farage is an instant expert and never admits that he might ever have been wrong about anything important.
Once again (as he has repeated since that interview) Farage made token, insincere, and weak comments distancing himself from Putin’s invasion. But he then went on to claim that the invasion had somehow been “provoked” by the West.
Essentially, therefore, Farage’s message can be paraphrased as – yes, the war is unfortunate and wrong, but the basic fault lies not with Putin but with the West: we should have given Putin most of what he wanted without war, and then the invasion wouldn’t have been necessary!
True strategic genius from the man who went straight from school to the London Metals Exchange without pausing to obtain an education.
When faced by an aggressor, says Nigel, don’t “provoke” him; don’t stand up him; instead – surrender in advance!
What Farage has never understood (or in his contrarian pursuit of American-style conspiracy theory, simply doesn’t want to understand) is that Putin was responding to a perception of Western weakness, not Western ‘provocation’.
The Kremlin misread signals and misread the determination of Ukrainian patriots.
Putin was correct that the Western response to his invasion would be slow. What he didn’t realise was that Ukrainian resistance would be so effective that his troops would grind to a halt, far short of their objective, and that an alliance of his neighbours, stretching from the Baltic to the Black Sea, would put some backbone into the cowardly ‘West’.
Farage – the ultimate political spiv – will never understand true patriotism. His ‘free market’, quick-profit mentality is fundamentally anti-nationalist and anti-White. He betrays his own political allies without a second thought.
To Farage, all this is ‘clever’ politics. To the rest of us, it is rank treachery which confirms that he is unfit for office.
Nigel Farage and Reform UK will doubtless play their part in destroying the Conservative Party – but if he and even a tiny group of Reform UK MPs are elected to Parliament, they will rapidly self-destruct.
Farage and his ilk are not and never will be part of a ‘transition’ to a better, patriotic politics. They are part of the problem: wholly unfit for office.
Will Spain’s PM resign after Moroccan lobbying scandal?
[29th April update: Sánchez has shamelessly relied on public rallies of his supporters to defy the judicial process and ignore serious questions. So far the UK media has colluded with him. Had a politician of the ‘right’ behaved in this way, then UK journalists would have denounced him as a populist demagogue. But a politician of the ‘left’ is given a free pass.]
Mystery surrounds Spain’s socialist Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez this weekend after he fuelled speculation that he might resign due to a series of corruption allegations against himself and his wife. Many observers suspect that Sánchez is manoeuvring to rally support on the left, and that tomorrow he will use political leverage to try to close down investigations.
Some of these allegations relate to a court case brought by a legal foundation run by a veteran Spanish nationalist, and some also involve Spain’s business and political relationships with the Kingdom of Morocco.
More than a year ago, we exposed the role of Moroccan lobbyists in the politically motivated prosecution of our European correspondent Isabel Peralta.
Isabel has campaigned against the corruption of Spanish politics: she has highlighted attempted blackmail being exerted by the Moroccan Government, who were threatening to flood Spain with immigrants unless Spain accepted Moroccan control over Western Sahara.
This is a diplomatic dispute that has been going on for more than half a century, ever since Spain gave up its colonial control over the province once known as Spanish Sahara. Morocco seeks to grab the entire area for itself, but is opposed by an independence movement called Polisario Front, which is backed by Algeria.
It was in Spaniards’ economic interest to back the Polisario, partly in order to remain on good terms with Algeria, which supplies Spain with natural gas. But for the past three or four years the Moroccan government has exerted blackmail on Spain.
Isabel denounced this blackmail at a demonstration outside the Moroccan Embassy in Madrid in May 2021. (At the time she was leading a Spanish nationalist youth group.)
Ten days after this demonstration, Madrid’s political police were visited by Sofia Bencrimo, who at that time was employed by a charity that promotes the integration of immigrants. This charity’s president is Mohammed Chaib Akhdim, a veteran politician and businessman with close personal and financial ties to the Moroccan government – the very people whose actions were being exposed and criticised in Isabel’s speech.
Chaib is a former MP in both the Catalan and Madrid parliaments for the left-wing party PSC (Socialists Party of Catalonia). This is one of the parties on which Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez depends to keep his coalition government in power.
But Chaib is also a wealthy businessman with financial interests in his native Morocco, and in particular stands to benefit from Morocco taking control of Western Sahara. Since 1992 he was been director of business development in Morocco for COMSA Industrial, a company with vast interests in engineering and construction projects in Morocco, including the disputed territory of Western Sahara.
Later the same day these police officers sent a report to the prosecutors: this was the first step in the process leading to Isabel’s criminal trial. The prosecution dossier of more than 90 pages (a copy of which has been obtained by H&D) was based on just a single complaint – the ‘evidence’ of Sofia Bencrimo, employee of the politically well-connected Moroccan lobbyist Mohammed Chaib.
In this context, and with the criminal charges against Isabel still slowly proceeding through the Madrid court system, readers will understand that H&D has taken an especially close interest in the sinister connections between the Spanish government and Moroccan lobbyists. Not only have these connections subverted Spain’s immigration policy, they have also led to our own correspondent being prosecuted. A patriotic activist is in the dock, while the real criminals are those in authority!
The full extent of this criminality is at last becoming clearer, which is why Prime Minister Sánchez made his unprecedented threat to resign, and this week is in hiding from the world’s press.
H&D cannot comment on all of the wide-ranging and sometimes bizarre allegations against Sánchez and his wife, but certain disturbing facts are already clear.
The timing of the Prime Minister’s resignation threat is related to two recent developments.
First, a Madrid court opened a preliminary investigation into his wife Begoña Gomez “for the alleged offence of influence peddling and corruption”. This investigation is based on a complaint by Manos Limpias (‘Clean Hands’), a foundation run by Miguel Bernad, a Madrid lawyer (now aged 82) whose political roots are in the nationalist party Fuerza Nueva and who was a senior ally of that party’s leader Blas Piñar.
Curiously, Bernad had personal knowledge of Ms Gomez’s strange family background. Her father Sabiniano Gómez owns several gay sauna establishments in Madrid, and conservative journalists have reported that Miguel Bernad was the city council official responsible for licensing such establishments, which several Spanish newspapers have openly described as homosexual brothels.
It’s certainly an odd connection: the London equivalent would be if Rishi Sunak’s father-in-law were the owner of Soho saunas rather than being one of the richest men in India…
Perhaps significantly, it’s also known that leading members of Spain’s main conservative party (PP) planned several years ago to carry out investigations of the Prime Minister’s father-in-law and exploit any scandals.
And this is where alleged Moroccan blackmail again becomes relevant.
Pegasus spyware, developed by Israel, was used by Moroccan authorities to target mobile phones belonging to Prime Minister Sánchez and some of his ministers. Rather then press for an investigation and punishment of those who had spied on him, Sánchez was happy to allow the case to drop. Partly because the Israeli company behind the spyware refused to cooperate, a Spanish judge dropped his investigation after 12 months.
Within days of the espionage case being reopened, Sanchez threatened to resign. Is he again attempting to interfere with the investigation, and if so, what revelations does he fear?
What is known is that Morocco spied on Prime Minister Sánchez in 2021, around the time when he suddenly changed Spain’s policy and began to favour Morocco over Western Sahara.
Since then, Sánchez has repeatedly favoured Morocco. A few weeks ago he announced plans for Spanish investment in Morocco totalling €45bn.
Another curious aspect is that the Kingdom of Morocco has close relations not only with Israel (hence their use of Israeli espionage software) but also with Vladimir Putin’s Russia.
In 2016, while preparing to work with Israeli technology to spy on Western European governments, Morocco signed an agreement with Russia to cooperate on military and intelligence matters.
This cooperation has extended since Putin’s invasion of Ukraine. Defying European sanctions, Morocco has become one of the Kremlin’s most important business partners. Morocco imports oil from Russia, and also exports oil to Spain.
If it were found that Sánchez and his Moroccan friends had connived at evading oil sanctions, to the benefit of the Kremlin, this would be a serious betrayal of Europe.
The Spanish government’s failed immigration policy is already a betrayal not only of Spaniards but of all Europeans; if Sánchez (via Morocco) is indirectly aiding the neo-Stalinist war machine, his disgusting record of treachery would be compounded.
As our regular readers know, our correspondent Isabel Peralta has three times had her travel to the UK interrupted due to harassment by border security working with their Spanish and German counterparts. The latest evidence ought to convince the Home Office that the real threat to British and European security interests comes from the Spanish government itself, not from Isabel. We shall continue to fight for our comrade, and we are confident that no obstacle will prevent her from continuing to champion the true Europe, as the brightest beacon of hope for our cause.
¿Dimitirá el primer ministro español tras el escándalo del lobby marroquí?

El misterio rodea al primer ministro socialista de España, Pedro Sánchez, este fin de semana después de que alimentó especulaciones de que podría renunciar debido a una serie de acusaciones de corrupción contra él y su esposa. Muchos observadores sospechan que Sánchez está maniobrando para reforzar su apoyo en la izquierda y que mañana utilizará su influencia política para intentar cerrar las investigaciones.

Algunas de estas acusaciones se relacionan con un caso judicial iniciado por una fundación legal dirigida por un veterano nacionalista español, y algunas también involucran las relaciones comerciales y políticas de España con el Reino de Marruecos.
Hace más de un año, expusimos el papel de los lobistas marroquíes en el procesamiento por motivos políticos de nuestra corresponsal europea Isabel Peralta.
Isabel ha hecho campaña contra la corrupción de la política española: ha destacado el intento de chantaje ejercido por el Gobierno marroquí, que amenazaba con inundar España de inmigrantes a menos que España aceptara el control marroquí sobre el Sáhara Occidental.
Esta es una disputa diplomática que ha durado más de medio siglo, desde que España renunció a su control colonial sobre la provincia que alguna vez se conoció como Sahara español. Marruecos busca apoderarse de toda el área, pero se opone a un movimiento independentista llamado Frente Polisario, que cuenta con el respaldo de Argelia.
A los españoles les interesaba económicamente respaldar al Polisario, en parte para mantener buenas relaciones con Argelia, que suministra gas natural a España. Pero durante los últimos tres o cuatro años el gobierno marroquí ha ejercido chantaje a España.
Isabel denunció este chantaje en una manifestación frente a la embajada de Marruecos en Madrid en mayo de 2021 (en ese momento lideraba un grupo juvenil nacionalista español).
Diez días después de esta manifestación, la policía política de Madrid recibió la visita de Sofía Bencrimo, que en aquel momento trabajaba en una organización benéfica que promueve la integración de inmigrantes. El presidente de esta organización benéfica es Mohammed Chaib Akhdim, un veterano político y hombre de negocios con estrechos vínculos personales y financieros con el gobierno marroquí, la misma gente cuyas acciones fueron expuestas y criticadas en el discurso de Isabel.
Chaib es exdiputado en los parlamentos catalán y de Madrid por el partido de izquierda PSC (Partido Socialista de Cataluña). Este es uno de los partidos de los que depende el presidente Pedro Sánchez para mantener en el poder su gobierno de coalición.
Pero Chaib también es un rico hombre de negocios con intereses financieros en su Marruecos natal y, en particular, se beneficiará de que Marruecos tome el control del Sáhara Occidental. Desde 1992 fue director de desarrollo de negocio en Marruecos de COMSA Industrial, empresa con amplios intereses en proyectos de ingeniería y construcción en Marruecos, incluido el territorio en disputa del Sáhara Occidental.
Más tarde, ese mismo día, estos policías enviaron un informe a los fiscales: este fue el primer paso en el proceso que condujo al juicio penal de Isabel. El expediente de la fiscalía, de más de 90 páginas (cuya copia ha sido obtenida por H&D) se basó en una sola denuncia: las “pruebas” de Sofia Bencrimo, empleada del lobista marroquí con buenas conexiones políticas Mohammed Chaib.
En este contexto, y con los cargos penales contra Isabel aún avanzando lentamente en el sistema judicial de Madrid, los lectores comprenderán que H&D se ha interesado especialmente en las siniestras conexiones entre el gobierno español y los lobbystas marroquíes. Estas conexiones no sólo han subvertido la política de inmigración de España, sino que también han llevado a que nuestro propio corresponsal sea procesado. ¡Un activista patriótico está en el banquillo, mientras que los verdaderos criminales son los que tienen autoridad!
El alcance total de esta criminalidad finalmente se está volviendo más claro, razón por la cual el presidente Sánchez hizo su amenaza sin precedentes de dimitir, y esta semana se esconde de la prensa mundial.
H&D no puede comentar sobre todas las acusaciones amplias y a veces extrañas contra Sánchez y su esposa, pero ciertos hechos inquietantes ya están claros.
El momento de la amenaza de dimisión del Primer Ministro está relacionado con dos acontecimientos recientes.
En primer lugar, un juzgado de Madrid abrió una investigación previa contra su esposa Begoña Gómez “por el presunto delito de tráfico de influencias y corrupción”. Esta investigación se basa en una denuncia de Manos Limpias, una fundación dirigida por Miguel Bernad, un abogado madrileño (ahora de 82 años) cuyas raíces políticas están en el partido nacionalista Fuerza Nueva y que fue un alto aliado de ese El líder del partido, Blas Piñar.
Curiosamente, Bernad tenía conocimiento personal de los extraños antecedentes familiares de la señora Gómez. Su padre, Sabiniano Gómez, es propietario de varios establecimientos de saunas gay en Madrid, y periodistas conservadores han informado que Miguel Bernad era el funcionario del ayuntamiento responsable de conceder licencias a dichos establecimientos, que varios periódicos españoles han descrito abiertamente como burdeles homosexuales.
Ciertamente es una conexión extraña: el equivalente en Londres sería si el suegro de Rishi Sunak fuera el propietario de las saunas del Soho en lugar de ser uno de los hombres más ricos de la India…
Quizás sea significativo que también se sepa que miembros destacados del principal partido conservador (PP) de España planearon hace varios años llevar a cabo investigaciones sobre el suegro del presidente del Gobierno y explotar cualquier escándalo.
Y aquí es donde el supuesto chantaje marroquí vuelve a cobrar relevancia.
El software espía Pegasus, desarrollado por Israel, fue utilizado por las autoridades marroquíes para atacar los teléfonos móviles del presidente Sánchez y de algunos de sus ministros. En lugar de presionar para que se investigara y castigara a quienes lo habían espiado, Sánchez se mostró feliz de permitir que el caso se desestimara. En parte porque la empresa israelí detrás del software espía se negó a cooperar, un juez español abandonó su investigación después de 12 meses.
Sin embargo, el pasado martes se reabrió el caso, gracias a la información facilitada a los tribunales españoles por la investigación francesa sobre un espionaje marroquí similar.
A los pocos días de reabrirse el caso de espionaje, Sánchez amenazó con dimitir. ¿Está intentando nuevamente interferir con la investigación y, de ser así, qué revelaciones teme?
Lo que sí se sabe es que Marruecos espió al presidente Sánchez en 2021, cuando de repente cambió la política de España y empezó a favorecer a Marruecos sobre el Sáhara Occidental.
Desde entonces, Sánchez ha favorecido repetidamente a Marruecos. Hace unas semanas anunció planes de inversión española en Marruecos por un total de 45.000 millones de euros.
Otro aspecto curioso es que el Reino de Marruecos tiene estrechas relaciones no sólo con Israel (de ahí su uso de software de espionaje israelí) sino también con la Rusia de Vladimir Putin.
En 2016, mientras se preparaba para trabajar con tecnología israelí para espiar a los gobiernos de Europa occidental, Marruecos firmó un acuerdo con Rusia para cooperar en asuntos militares y de inteligencia.
Esta cooperación se ha extendido desde la invasión de Ucrania por parte de Putin. Desafiando las sanciones europeas, Marruecos se ha convertido en uno de los socios comerciales más importantes del Kremlin. Marruecos importa petróleo de Rusia y también exporta petróleo a España.
Si se descubriera que Sánchez y sus amigos marroquíes habían confabulado para evadir las sanciones petroleras, en beneficio del Kremlin, esto sería una grave traición a Europa.

Putinist oligarch arrested in London
Mikhail Fridman – one of London’s leading Russian oligarchs – was arrested at one of his two London homes on Thursday by officers from the National Crime Agency’s Combatting Kleptocracy Cell. British press reports have avoided naming Fridman.
According to an NCA statement, Fridman – a close ally of Kremlin dictator Vladimir Putin – was arrested “on suspicion of offences including money laundering, conspiracy to defraud the Home Office and conspiracy to commit perjury”. A 35-year-old man was arrested in the vicinity after being observed leaving Fridman’s home with a bag containing a large amount of cash.
Later on Thursday, the former boyfriend of Fridman’s current partner was arrested at his home in Pimlico, “for offences including money laundering and conspiracy to defraud”.
The NCA’s Director-General Graeme Biggar said: “The NCA’s Combatting Kleptocracy Cell, only established this year, is having significant success investigating potential criminal activity by oligarchs, the professional service providers that support and enable them and those linked to the Russian regime.
“We will continue to use all the powers and tactics available to us to disrupt this threat.”
Mikhail Fridman was born in Lviv but now holds joint Russian and Israeli citizenship. He began to build his Alfa business empire in his early 20s, in partnership with two fellow Jews – German Khan and Petr Aven – and is best known for his co-ownership of the controversial Alfa Bank and associated companies.
Since 2017 Fridman and his partners have been involved in several legal actions against the former MI6 officer Chris Steele, whose dossier alleged that they had corrupt dealings with Putin and Donald Trump.
Fridman co-founded the Russian Jewish Congress and has been a major donor to Zionist causes including the European Jewish Fund and ‘Holocaust’ education projects. His Genesis Philanthropy Group sponsors an annual prize for “Jewish contributions to humanity”.
Fridman’s two London homes are 25 Cavendish Close, St John’s Wood (close to Lord’s cricket ground), and Athlone House, a mansion in Highgate, North London, that was used as an RAF Intelligence base during the Second World War. For many years pre-war it was owned by Sir Robert Waley Cohen, one of the leaders of the Anglo-Jewish community.
In 2018 Fridman addressed a Chabad “Living Torah” event in London’s exclusive Belgravia district, where he described the Torah as the “backbone” of key concepts pioneered by Judaism, including “the precedence of good over evil and the power to choose between them using free will’. No doubt following his arrest he will be given plenty of time to explain these concepts to the Combatting Kleptocracy Cell of London’s National Crime Agency.
Tony Blair’s favourite oligarch hit by sanctions: ex-PM and ‘Holocaust’ lobby under scrutiny
As far back as 27th February H&D raised questions about former Prime Minister Tony Blair and his favourite oligarch Moshe Kantor, a close friend of both the ex-Labour leader and the Kremlin godfather Vladimir Putin.
We pointed out that since 2015 Blair has been chairman of Kantor’s ‘European Council on Tolerance and Reconciliation’, which campaigns for ‘tougher laws against extremism’.
Naturally the extremism Blair and Kantor wish to criminalise involves such things as publishing a magazine or running a bookshop. For this type of extremism the likes of Blair and Kantor endorse the approach of Spanish prosecutors, who wish to jail Pedro Varela for twelve years, or German prosecutors who wish again to jail the 93-year-old Ursula Haverbeck, or German border guards who defy their own laws and their country’s obligations under the European constitution to deport the 19-year-old student Isabel Peralta.
Invading a neighbouring country is, by contrast, not ‘extreme’: not if the invader is Moshe Kantor’s close friend Vladimir Putin.
Kantor’s many leading positions in international Jewry and Zionism include President of the European Jewish Council; Vice President of the UK’s Jewish Leadership Council (a registered charity); Chairman of the Policy Council of the World Jewish Congress; and President of the World Holocaust Forum Foundation.
In many of these roles he has worked closely with Tony Blair, who was one of the most pro-Israel Prime Ministers in UK history.
In 2015 Kantor organised a conference in the Czech Republic where he called on European governments including the UK to adopted standardised laws criminalising ‘Holocaust denial’. Defying the views of scholars and legal experts who wish to repeal these ‘historical memory laws’ that jail people for their opinions, Kantor wanted to make the laws stricter and the punishments harsher.
Tony Blair joined Kantor in promoting these arguments and demands for legal crackdowns on opinion-crime, via a major article in The Times newspaper.
The main vehicle for demanding these new debate-denial laws was the ironically named European Council on Tolerance and Reconciliation, with Kantor as President and paymaster, and Tony Blair as chairman.
Now Kantor himself is facing legal sanctions – not for opinions, but for his documented ties to the Kremlin’s war machine and lie machine.
It is now beyond dispute that for the past twenty years or more, Vladimir Putin has used Holocaust propaganda as an instrument of Russian diplomacy and as a justification for Russian military aggression.
Now is the time to ask the forbidden questions. Whatever European courts might say, it’s time to demand historical truth.
Back in 2007 – in a letter prominently published in a national newspaper – H&D‘s Peter Rushton discussed the way that Israeli Prime Minister Golda Meir had used Holocaust propaganda to pressure US governments into allowing Israel to get away with nuclear proliferation. His letter ended: “Should a self-interested version of 1940s history be allowed to dictate the nuclear power politics of the 21st century, with potentially disastrous consequences?”
In 2022 the same question becomes more urgent, and we can no longer allow the risk of prosecution in many European countries to silence that question.
Therefore this week H&D will launch a new website section – Real History and the True Europe – in which over the coming months we shall ask the important questions about Europe’s history and culture, including the ‘Holocaust’.
On this website, in our magazine, and in a book to be published later this year – The Dogs That Didn’t Bark: British Intelligence, International Jewry and the Holocaust (the first of a series examining aspects of Britain’s secret history with the aid of new archival discoveries) – we will examine whether, just as Moshe Kantor and Vladimir Putin have exploited ‘Holocaust’ stories for propagandist purposes, other official and unofficial propaganda agencies were behind parts of the original ‘Holocaust’ narrative in the 1940s.
We shall re-examine the work of revisionist scholars including the late Professor Robert Faurisson, including work newly available in English translation.
We shall have interviews and court reports from across Europe, as politically biased judges seek to jail nonagenarians for ‘criminal’ opinions.
And we shall reveal other political abuses of the judicial system, where a new generation of European political activist is threatened with prosecution to distract from government treachery and failure to enforce immigration laws.
This online project and publishing venture will look at many other topics besides the ‘Holocaust’, but we shall not be afraid to challenge the establishment consensus. Europe is again at war. Historical and political truth is too important for us to tolerate its restriction by the courts.
The oligarch who hedges his bets
Today Spanish police seized a £70m ‘superyacht’ belonging to one of Vladimir Putin’s closest oligarch cronies.
Tango is registered in the British Virgin Islands – one of the favourite havens for shady international tycoons – and belongs to Viktor Vekselberg, son of a Ukrainian Jew and a Russian. Since 1990 Vekselberg has been head of the Renova Group, a Russian conglomerate with interests in aluminium, oil and other sectors. He has been subject to international sanctions due to his close Kremlin ties.
According to several investigators, Vekselberg’s most interesting international role has been as the man who does the dirty work for Sir Len Blavatnik, his business partner, co-founder of the Renova Group and closest friend since their schooldays.
While Vekselberg has been sanctioned, Blavatnik has earned a teflon reputation which might be connected to his remarkable talent for backing opposite political sides and remaining close to power.
Blavatnik has at various times backed pro- and anti-Netanyahu factions in Israel; Tony Blair in the UK; Bill Clinton, Donald Trump and Joe Biden in the USA. In 2015 a group of international scholars condemned Oxford University for accepting Blavatnik’s money to fund the ‘Blavatnik School of Government’.
Blavatnik however insists that he has distanced himself from Putin, and the likes of Tony Blair and his ‘charitable foundations’ have continued to work closely with the Blavatnik School of Government. Meanwhile Blavatnik has continued to be one of the world’s leading sponsors of ‘Holocaust’ education, including a recent international conference to celebrate “the nearly 1.5 million Jewish men and women who fought in World War II against Adolf Hitler and the Axis powers.” H&D will soon be analysing some of the interesting omissions from this ‘history’!
Perhaps the ambiguities of Blavatnik’s own position will never be fully resolved, but as the Kremlin’s brutality continues in Ukraine, the likes of Tony Blair are feeling increasingly nervous about their ties to Putin’s oligarchs. Whatever their politics, Western politicians (including some so-called ‘nationalists’) have been happy to stick their snouts in the Kremlin trough.
Dodgy billionaires, Prime Ministers, and Spanish Royalty – three generations of an elite political cabal
One of Britain’s wealthiest politicians is caught in a web of political and financial intrigue, involving the former mistress of Spain’s ex-King, as well a corrupt police officer who provided private services to ultra-wealthy clients.
Zac Goldsmith – now Lord Goldsmith – is a close friend and political ally of Prime Minister Boris Johnson. He allowed Johnson and his new wife Carrie to use his Marbella estate for a holiday in October last year. In 2016 Goldsmith (now married to a member of the Rothschild family) was Conservative candidate for Mayor of London.
He is mentioned in secret recordings (made a year before that mayoral election) of a conversation at a Belgravia apartment between Corinna zu Sayn-Wittgenstein (former mistress of King Juan Carlos) and a Spanish detective called José Manuel Villarejo, who boasted that he had “a better intelligence service” than the Spanish government and that for a suitable fee he could use this to protect Sayn-Wittgenstein’s interests and the interests of her friends, including Goldsmith and his brother Ben.
The Goldsmiths were worried about a Spanish tax dispute – involving the very property where the Prime Minister and his wife later stayed. Eventually Spanish tax inspectors ruled that the Goldsmiths owed up to £21 million (€26 million) in unpaid taxes, and the case is still to be resolved in court.
While H&D has no idea whether or to what extent the Goldsmiths were culpable in this matter, the secret recording reveals that Sayn-Wittgenstein was asking for the corrupt detective’s help, because she said Ben Goldsmith was worried that even if there had been no crime committed, the undisputed details of the case involving properties held via obscure tax avoiding arrangements in the Cayman Islands, would mean Zac was politically “dead”.
The detective reassured her: “I have tough people, serious people, and people who don’t exist.”
He is now on trial in Spain for a wide range of bribery and corruption charges.
Zac Goldsmith is the son of Sir James Goldsmith, one of the most controversial businessmen in 20th century British history. Despite being a ‘right-wing’ Conservative and later founder of his own Eurosceptic ‘Referendum Party’ that contested the 1997 general election, Sir James obtained his knighthood in controversial circumstances from Labour Prime Minister Harold Wilson in 1976.
He was one of a group of Jewish businessmen who provided financial help for Wilson and for Wilson’s political secretary Marcia Williams (later Lady Falkender).
Last week H&D‘s Peter Rushton filed Freedom of Information requests for a range of official documents involving these controversial businessmen and Wilson’s 1976 honours list that gave them peerages and knighthoods. Goldsmith was known to have been particularly close to Marcia Williams, as was another businessman knighted on the list, Sir Eric Miller, who was found shot dead in his garden on the Jewish festival of Yom Kippur in 1977.
At that time Miller was under investigation for his ties to a leading Jewish organised crime figure, former solicitor and financier Judah Binstock, who fled London to avoid prosecution and spent the last decades of his life in Marbella, not far from the Goldsmiths’ estate, becoming one of the area’s leading landowners and a serious operator in the complex world of shady business and financial crime.
Just as is now alleged with Sayn-Wittgenstein, Binstock and Miller had corrupt policemen on their payrolls, which led to one of the worst scandals in the history of London’s Metropolitan Police.
Others in the Downing Street cabal included two tycoons who were suspected by Britain’s security and intelligence services of ties to Soviet bloc intelligence – Joseph Kagan and Rudy Sternberg, who were each elevated by Wilson to the House of Lords.
Readers shouldn’t be surprised that the Spanish royal family ended up implicated in this sinister saga. As we have previously documented, Queen Ena of Spain – the British princess who was the grandmother of King Juan Carlos – was herself on the payroll of Spain’s most notorious crypto-Jewish gangster Juan March.

Putin’s corrupt oligarch profits while his soldiers starve
Vladimir Putin’s invasion of Ukraine might have fared better if his circle of oligarchic cronies had been just a little less corrupt.
Reports tonight that Russia is asking China to supply basic food rations for its invading army indicate that the existing food supplies are woefully inadequate. Troops on deployment are meant to be supplied with “meals, ready to eat”, known in military jargon as MRE. Russia is already asking China to supply these, in a desperate effort to plug gaps in its own military planning.
On further investigation it seems that more than 90% of the contracts for supplying food to Russia’s armed forces had gone to one of Putin’s leading oligarchs, Yevgeny Prigozhin.
Like many of his ilk, the half-Jewish Prigozhin has an interesting background that might not seem the ideal qualification for a position of trust.
He began a career of crime as an 18-year-old in Soviet-era Leningrad, convicted several times for offences of robbery, fraud and gangsterism, and eventually spending nine years in jail before emerging into post-Soviet Russia, which was and is ideal territory for professional criminals.
For almost twenty years Prigozhin has been a close friend and ally of Vladimir Putin, and therefore can do no wrong. But that doesn’t help the soldiers at the sharp end of Putin’s invasion, who are relying on food that Prigozhin was contracted and paid to supply, but which doesn’t exist.
Desperately hungry soldiers have been reduced to looting as they make their slow progress. Some of the MREs carried to the frontline proved to be more than seven years past their use-by date!
Prigozhin is protected partly because he now owns the Wagner Group, a private Russian paramilitary organisation that has profited from some of Putin’s foreign policy adventures, including security operations for African dictators.
Putin came to power pledging to root out the corruption that plagued Russia under his predecessor and patron Boris Yeltsin. Yet all that has happened is a rationalisation and concentration of corruption in the hands of fewer and more organised crooks. This criminality might be the final determining factor in Russia’s military failure and Putin’s downfall.
Britain’s most pro-Zionist minister faces sack over links to porn baron
A few weeks ago, Britain’s leading political journalists would all have assumed that Robert Jenrick was not only safe in his Cabinet job, but probably on the way up.
During last year’s Conservative Party leadership contest, three young stars endorsed Boris Johnson at a critical time in a joint letter to The Times – Rishi Sunak, Oliver Dowden and Robert Jenrick.
Johnson is known to reward such loyalty, and the trio were duly promoted – in Sunak’s case all the way to the dizzy heights of Chancellor of the Exchequer. Oliver Dowden is now in charge of the Digital, Culture, Media & Sport department (facing one of the trickiest tasks in government post-Covid); while Jenrick is Secretary of State for Housing, Communities & Local Government.
This makes Jenrick ultimately responsible for all planning decisions, which are taken in the first instance by local council committees but in significant or controversial cases are sometimes ‘called in’ to be decided by the Minister following an inspector’s inquiry.
One controversial decision Jenrick was due to make later this year concerned the gigantic ‘Holocaust memorial’ which Jewish lobbyists and others aim to construct in the heart of Westminster. This plan was rejected by Westminster City Council earlier this year, but Jenrick’s subordinates instantly ‘called in’ the application and there were clear signs that he was going to overrule the council and allow the memorial to be built, ignoring the views of local residents and conservationists.
Now Jenrick is almost certain to resign or be sacked, after the latest revelations about his links to Richard Desmond, property developer and former owner of the Daily Express, who made his fortune from the porn industry.
H&D has previously reported on Mr Desmond’s background, and on the manner in which two former leaders of the violent Jewish ‘antifascist’ 62 Group rushed to Desmond’s defence following an earlier scandal.
In 2015 Mr Desmond gave more than £1 million to UKIP, but has since returned to the Tory fold. Until 2004 he supported Tony Blair’s Labour Party!
This week several newspapers have reported on the curious communications between Mr Desmond and Mr Jenrick before the latter made at least two crucial decisions that potentially saved Mr Desmond more than £100m.
The only question now is whether (as in the case of Dominic Cummings) Boris Johnson’s stubborn loyalty to his friends allows a Minister to remain in office following conduct which in any other case would lead to resignation or dismissal.
Mr Jenrick is married to an Israeli citizen, corporate lawyer Michal Berkner. Their three daughters are being raised in the Jewish faith.

Because the many criminal actions by the Deep State against Matthew Hale have been made public, it is necessary to present the motive for these crimes as a warning to all freedom loving Americans:
For many years prior to his unlawful arrest, prosecution and imprisonment, Matthew Hale has been harassed by establishment-types including the Mayor and City Council of his own home town. Why? Because Matthew Hale has openly defended the white race. In fact, the infamous “race card” has denied Mr. Hale’s First Amendment rights through actions that included FBI attempts to prevent his speaking and TV engagements. Hale was also denied his law license for perfectly legal behavior and beliefs about race – none of which involved any threats to or against any other race!
In 1992, Matthew Hale became a member of “The Church of the Creator,” originally founded in North Carolina in 1973. Subsequently, in 1996, he was chosen leader of “The World Church of the Creator.” In 2002, Hale and his church became involved in a trademark infringement case with an Oregon group also calling itself, “The World Church of the Creator.” The case came to trial and in that same year, Judge Joan Lefkow ruled in Hale’s favor—but a higher court reversed the decision sending the matter back to Lefkow’s court where Hale hoped to enter an appeal.
Angered by the biased nature of the reversal, Hale, some members of his church and supporters wanted to picket the homes of those responsible, a time honored civil rights tactic used by many groups. A man named Evola had “joined” the church and by virtue of his physical size, offered himself both as Hale’s bodyguard and a source for the addresses of those being considered for the public demonstrations. Unknown to Hale, Evola was an FBI “plant” paid $72,000 to “tape” conversations with Hale that would form the basis of a charge of soliciting the murder of the same Judge Joan Lefkow who had originally ruled in Hale’s favor!
It is essential to understand that to accomplish his “mission” for the FBI, Evola had to offer this “assassination service” to Hale, a crime called “entrapment!” This is the same crime used to put Ruby Ridge’s Randy Weaver in the FBI’s cross-hairs for refusing to wear a wire to record the meetings of a white separatist group Weaver occasionally visited. Hale was later acquitted of the false charge of hiring a “hit man” (agent Evola) to murder Judge Lefkow despite Evola’s tapes showing that Hale had repeatedly refused this offer! Subsequently, Hale, after a bogus “trial” lasting about two weeks and despite—or because of—multiple legal improprieties and outright crimes, was found guilty. A fictional “clerical error”[!] allowed the Deep State to use “terrorist sentencing guidelines” to send Hale to prison for forty years, sixteen of which he has spent in solitary confinement where he remains to this day.
The crime(s) against Matthew Hale began long ago when, as was his right, he chose a particular viewpoint and made it public. In other words, Matthew Hale has been confined for perhaps the rest of his life because he believed as an American citizen he had the same constitutional guarantees the rest of us also believe we have. If he is condemned to remain incarcerated, We the People are permitting our own enslavement by the same Deep State that has wrongly condemned Matthew Hale.
