Ghislaine Maxwell – daughter of notorious Mossad agent Robert Maxwell – guilty of trafficking teenagers

Within the last hour Ghislaine Maxwell – daughter of the notorious fraudster, arms dealer and Mossad agent Robert Maxwell – has been convicted by a New York jury on five criminal charges including “sex trafficking of a minor”, which carries a maximum prison sentence of up to forty years.

This verdict will lead to many pages and hours of print and broadcast media analysis.

Whether the role of Israeli intelligence in the Maxwell family saga will be properly examined is, however, doubtful!

So for the benefit of H&D readers we publish here the review by our assistant editor Peter Rushton of the most recent book about Robert Maxwell.

Labour councillor resigns after porn charges

A Labour councillor for the Hollinwood ward of Oldham Council has resigned and last week appeared in court facing charges of downloading child pornography.

Martin Judd, 25, entered not guilty pleas at Manchester Minshull Street Crown Court to three charges that between February 2018 and Febriary 2020 he had downloaded fifteen Category A (the most serious) images of children, twenty-three Category B, and 48 Category C.

Judd was committed for trial in Manchester next January.

Born in New Zealand, Judd was elected as a Hollinwood ward councillor in 2018. A year earlier he had been elected in Manchester as the youngest every President of a Rotary Club. (He worked for Waitrose in Manchester city centre.)

Some H&D readers will remember Hollinwood ward from the early 2000s: Oldham BNP organiser Mick Treacy polled 24% in the ward at the 2002 elections.

Since those days of curse Oldham BNP has ceased to exist, and in any case there can be no by-elections for the time being due to Covid-19.

Top IRA paedophile blackmailed into spying

[spacer height=”20px”]Lurid allegations of “paedophile rings” in British politics are still being investigated – at vast expense – by various police forces and a statutory enquiry, despite evidence that so far appears flimsy at best.

Yet one political organisation has a definite and longstanding link to paedophilia, which it covered up with threats of murder.

We refer to the terrorist scum of the Provisional IRA and their political front Sinn Fein.

Author Martin Dillon this week revealed how one such paedophile – Brendan ‘Ruby’ Davison, IRA commander in the Markets area of South Belfast and a member of the terror gang’s General Headquarters staff – was blackmailed by British Intelligence and RUC Special Branch, who “had video of him having sex with young men in a sports centre.”[spacer height=”20px”]

[spacer height=”20px”]Davison’s services for the secret state did not allow him to escape justice forever.  He was executed by the Ulster Volunteer Force in his own home on 25th July 1988, killed instantly by a 7.62x39mm bullet to the forehead.

Yet he remains a hero to Sinn Fein / IRA, whose leader Gerry Adams was a pallbearer at Davison’s funeral.  IRA godfather Adams had learned the previous year that his brother Liam was another paedophile who had raped his own daughter but he concealed this information from the authorities.[spacer height=”20px”]

Former BNP activist back in Court

A 40-year old Blackburn man, described by his teenage girlfriend as ‘controlling’ subjected her to two brutal assaults in the space of two weeks. Earlier week Blackburn magistrates heard in the first attack the girl was punched in the face and grabbed round the throat.  In the second she was repeatedly punched and then kicked as she lay on the floor before being kneed in the crutch.

Ian Hindle, 40, of Church Walk, Blackburn, a former BNP activist pleaded guilty to two charges of assaulting Tania Derbyshire. He was remanded in custody for the preparation of a pre-sentence report.

Catherine Allan, prosecuting, said Miss Derbyshire had been in a relationship with Hindle since just after she turned 16 (sixteen) after meeting him through Facebook.

“The prosecution say he has groomed a vulnerable person who has only just turned 18,” said Miss Allan. “He introduced her to drugs and there has been a previous history of violence against her.”

Miss Allan said on the first occasion Miss Derbyshire had gone to his sister’s home and waited for him. “He arrived 30 minutes later, high on drugs, and accused her of cheating on him,” said Miss Allan.

“He punched her on the head and then grabbed her by the throat and pushed her against a wall.”

The second incident happened at Hindle’s home. He dragged Miss Derbyshire upstairs by her hair where he repeatedly kicked and punched her.

Jonathan Taylor, defending, said Hindle was addicted to crack cocaine and that impacted on his behaviour.

Hindle’s mother – Florence Hindle (who was a leading supporter of Nick Griffin) – was secretary of Blackburn BNP branch and stood as a BNP candidate in local elections on numerous occasions, including Mill Hill ward in 2007, where she stood against England First candidate Kevin Shaw.  Mr Shaw had been tipped by many to win, but acting on Nick Griffin’s instructions Ms Hindle split the nationalist vote and handed what should have been a nationalist victory to the Labour Party.

Ian Hindle’s first conviction for sex offences was in 2008, when he was given a three-year sentence for offences involving 14-year-old girls.  Also sentenced in this 2008 case was Hindle’s fellow BNP activist Andrew Wells, a well-known organised crime figure in the Blackburn area. Perhaps the most serious aspect of this case is that Wells was also involved in recruiting (among both nationalists and criminals) for a security company employed by NATO forces in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Anti-fascist gangster pervert jailed

One of Britain’s most notorious gangsters, who was in the vanguard of violent “anti-fascism”, is beginning an 11-year prison sentence for a series of crimes linked to his organised crime empire.  Dominic Noonan (who now spells his name “Domenyk”) presided over a reign of terror in the Manchester and Salford area. He was also convicted of “attempting to pervert the course of justice” after paying the parents of a young boy so that he would not give evidence about Noonan’s alleged sexual offences.

Noonan and his late brother – gangland assassin Dessie Noonan – had close ties to Irish republican terrorists and related “anti-fascist” activity in North West England which was at its peak in the 1990s. Dessie Noonan was killed by a black drug dealer in 2005.

Dominic Noonan – a well-known homosexual – surrounded himself with a coterie of teenage boys, and organised them in an orgy of rioting across Manchester following the death of Dessie’s nephew, black gangster Mark Duggan, in a controversial shooting by London police in 2011.

Heritage and Destiny readers will be familiar with the entire Noonan saga. We are only now able to report Dominic Noonan’s prison sentence – though he was jailed in September last year – because of a contempt of court order restricting reporting until a related case had concluded. Last year Dominic Noonan came to attention after the murder of another local gang boss Paul Massey, who shortly before his death had posted allegations online against Noonan. Massey had also been on the far left, but in the last year of his life had been a UKIP supporter.

Last week Noonan received a further two year sentence for perverting the course of justice, though he was acquitted of “engaging in a sex act in front of a minor”. Last September he was given a nine-year sentence for offences including blackmail and arson.

In 2004 Dominic Noonan was jailed for 9½ years for possession of a firearm: he was released in 2010 but briefly recalled to prison in 2011 for his role in that year’s riots.

While highlighting cases of hooliganism among their opponents (less among genuine nationalists than among the Islam-obsessed EDL and allied groups) “anti-fascists” are not keen to highlight their own close connections with notorious figures in Greater Manchester organised crime.  Coincidentally (or perhaps not) while the EDL gangsters and hooligans tend to support Manchester City (despite the club’s ownership by the Muslim ruling family of Abu Dhabi!), their “anti-fascist” opponents tend to be linked to the rival club Manchester United, and even produced an “anti-fascist” football fanzine, Red Attitude.

The most notorious “anti-fascist” gangsters in Greater Manchester were Salford’s Dessie Noonan, responsible for more than twenty gangland killings before his own murder in March 2005, and Manchester’s Paddy Logan, who like Noonan was involved with both Anti-Fascist Action and various Irish republican terrorist gangs before falling victim to an internal criminal feud, shot dead in his own bedroom in July 1999.

‘Soldiers of Odin’ defend Finns against immigrant rapists

The long-suppressed truth about assaults against European women by immigrant rapists finally broke through the media blackout in recent weeks, following what appeared to be a planned series of rapes in Germany carried out by “asylum seekers”.

In one of the most horrific incidents, a 22-year-old aid worker was stabbed to death in Sweden last week by a 15-year-old immigrant.

Several European countries have seen vigilante groups of local whites growing during the last few months: one of the largest is in Finland, where “Sons of Odin” are mobilising nationwide to defend Finnish women.

In the southern Finnish city of Tampere, for example, 4,000 asylum seekers have arrived during the last six months, and there have been dozens of reported attacks by these newcomers against local women,

Maoist cult leader jailed for 23 years

Aravindan Balakrishnan – the Maoist cult leader known as ‘Comrade Bala’ – has been jailed for 23 years at Southwark Crown Court in London, after he was found guilty of a string of sexual assaults against his followers and having kept his own daughter a prisoner for thirty years.

After first reports that a woman had escaped from a cult-like group in 2013, Heritage and Destiny exclusively revealed the name of the Maoist sect involved and gave some of its background.

Comrade Bala led a commune in Brixton known as the Workers’ Institute, which broke away from a larger Maoist outfit – the Communist Party of England (Marxist-Leninist) in 1974.  While still in the CPE (M-L) Balakrishnan and his followers carried out a violent “anti-fascist” attack on Prof. Hans Eysenck at the London School of Economics in May 1973.  Eysenck was hated by the left because of his research on race and intelligence.

“Comrade Bala” and his fellow hoodlums pulled Prof. Eysenck to the floor, where he was punched, kicked and spat upon.  He was left with broken spectacles and cuts to his face, and was later treated at the Maudsley Hospital, Denmark Hill.

The Maoist gang, who included several bused in from Birmingham, went on to attack some of their fellow leftists. One of the leaders of the Birmingham gang was Paul Rowe. Another was Sian Davies, who became the mother of Comrade Bala’s child. It was the child (now known as Katy Morgan-Davies) who was effectively kept as a prisoner by her father Comrade Bala for three decades. Her mother died after a mysterious fall from a window at the commune on Christmas Eve in 1996.

Katy Morgan-Davies escaped from the cult in 2013, triggering a long-overdue official investigation which has now ended in Comrade Bala’s imprisonment.

The CPE (M-L) – both during Balakrishnan’s involvement and after the 1974 split – did not confine its violent proclivities to punching middle-aged academics.  In July 1975 they were exposed by the Ulster loyalist journal Combat as the “most violent Communist organisation in the UK”. In March of that year members of the Ulster Volunteer Force had discovered letters from Paul Rowe and other members of the group to Michael Adamson, a terrorist from the Irish National Liberation Army (INLA), whom they had just shot dead at his home in Clifton Road, North Belfast.

Ironically Adamson had been identified following a tip-off from his former comrades in the so-called “Official IRA” after a split in the Marxist wing of Irish republicanism the previous year. The INLA and its political wing (the Irish Republican Socialist Party) went on to develop very close ties to violent “anti-fascists” in England and Scotland, which have been documented in several Heritage and Destiny articles.

All of this goes to show that Balakrishnan and his ilk should have been very well known to the British authorities. So if the latest police charges concerning “slavery” prove accurate, why was he allowed to get away with it for so long? Did it suit the British state to indulge violent “anti-fascists” with Irish republican links?

And why on earth was Balakrishnan effectively subsidised for so long by the hard-pressed ratepayers of Lambeth?

Of course the Comrade Bala saga has developed into a serious embarrassment for the far left. The Maoist faction from which he broke away was part of an international tendency founded in Canada by the Indian student activist Hardial Bains. Its best known British activist was the avant-garde composer Cornelius Cardew, who again died mysteriously in an unsolved hit-and-run car accident in 1981. Following multiple splits, the surviving members of this Maoist tendency now run the Revolutionary Communist Party of Britain (Marxist-Leninist), based at a bookshop in Lambeth, which currently promotes the bizarre communist dictatorship in North Korea. On February 13th the bookshop will host a ‘Friends of Korea’ evening, to be addressed by the North Korean Ambassador. Will anyone with memories of the ’70s spare a thought for ex-Comrade Bala or his victims?

‘Anti-fascist’ cleric exposed as pervert

The front page of today’s Mail on Sunday exposes the Rev. Paul Flowers – former chairman of the Co-operative Bank – as a perverted drug abuser.

Nationalist activists in the North of England have been aware of Rev. Flowers for more than 20 years: he has frequently pontificated against “racism” in his role as a borough councillor, first in Rochdale and later in Bradford.

The main reason why Flowers involved himself in purchasing hard drugs – including cocaine, crystal meth and ketamine – was to ingratiate himself with young men whom he was grooming for sex.  The Mail on Sunday‘s revelations come from a 26-year-old homosexual whom 63-year-old Flowers had met via a “gay dating” website.  In one text message to this man, Rev. Flowers promised that a party he was planning was “turning into a two day, drug fuelled gay orgy!!!”

He was as good as his word, as the newspaper documents.

From 2010 until May 2013 Rev. Flowers earned £132,000 a year as chairman of the Co-op Bank, which had to be rescued by City institutions earlier this year after losing £700 million in six months.

In 2010 Rev. Flowers was appointed to the Finance and Industry Board of the Labour Party.  At the 2010 Labour Party Conference in Manchester he spoke on a specialist panel discussing “The Challenge for Financial Services: Helping the UK Economy Grow”, alongside Chris Leslie, who is now Shadow Chief Secretary to the Treasury on Ed Miliband’s front bench team.  Rev. Flowers is also a trustee of the AIDS charity the Terrence Higgins Trust.

Journalists are now understood to be re-examining the past role of Rev. Flowers as a Labour councillor in Rochdale, where he was vice-chairman of the council’s social services committee during a notorious investigation of child abuse more than twenty years ago. The town’s MP at the time was Sir Cyril Smith, a notorious paedophile whose abuse of young boys in Rochdale care homes was known back in the 1970s but has only recently been exposed by the national media.

Rev. Flowers’s own conviction for gross indecency came to light as long ago as 1990.  He had been fined by magistrates nine years earlier after committing the offence in a public lavatory in Southampton.  Click here to view a PDF of a 1990 article about the case.

This sordid record appears not to have concerned either the Methodist Church, the Labour Party or the Co-operative Bank.  Rev. Flowers himself had the chutzpah to write to The Guardian in November 2003 lambasting an Anglican archbishop for his comments about homosexuality.

On that occasion Rev. Flowers wrote: “sometimes truth is more important than weight of numbers”.  Quite so, and the truth about this obese, drug peddling pervert is now out!

 

 

Trotskyist councillor caught up in far left turmoil: rape allegations against comrade

Britain’s most successful far left organisation – the Socialist Workers Party (SWP) – is falling apart because of rape allegations against one of its leaders, who had also been the key organiser of the ‘anti-racist’ campaigns Unite Against Fascism and Love Music Hate Racism.

Internal SWP reports refer to the accused party official only as Comrade Delta, but he has been widely identified by fellow leftists as Martin Smith, long serving national secretary of the party who was convicted in September 2010 of assaulting a police officer at an ‘anti-fascist’ demonstration against BNP leader Nick Griffin’s appearance on the BBC’s Question Time.  Detailed rape allegations dating back four or five years were made against Smith by a female SWP member.  She was 17 at the time: Smith was almost 50.

Smith’s colleagues on the party’s central committee held an enquiry chaired by the Manchester trade union activist Karen Reissman.  They voted 6-1 to dismiss the allegations, but the party membership was more evenly split, voting 231-209 in his facour.  Most importantly, many prominent activists were so disgusted by the SWP’s handling of the affair that they quit, and in some cases leaked important documents about the case to rival leftist factions.

A few months ago Smith bowed to the inevitable and resigned his party positions, though retaining the support of his cronies at the top of the SWP.  The latest twist in the case is that Smith has been awarded what (in today’s much cut back educational world) is a rare funded place to study for a doctorate at Liverpool Hope University.

Feminists and anti-rape campaigners in Liverpool are outraged, and have directed their anger not only at Smith but at his fellow SWP activist Michael Lavalette, who heads the social work department at the university.  Several left-wing blogs have alleged that Lavalette was involved in arranging his comrade’s placement at Liverpool Hope (formerly known as the Liverpool Institute of Higher Education).

Obviously we have no way of knowing the truth of these charges, but here at H&D we have encountered Lavalette many times.  He is a councillor on Preston City Council, one of the very few Trotskyists ever to enjoy electoral success, having defeated Labour three times in the heavily Asian ward known as Town Centre.

Who will win this titanic battle between Trotskyists and Feminists?  How will Cllr Lavalette’s many Muslim voters react, as they probably have little sympathy with either of these Western bourgeois ideologies?  Will Comrade Delta become Doctor Delta and win back his position in the vanguard of the revolution?

Only one thing remains certain: the SWP and its myriad far left rivals will continue to offer no hope for the betrayed workers of 21st century Britain.

Killing puts ‘castration’ on French agenda

GUARDIAN, 2Oct09: France is considering forcing some sex offenders to undergo chemical castration after a public outcry over the murder of a jogger by a rapist who had recently been released from prison.

The prime minister, François Fillon, said the government was looking at legislation on hormonal treatment for offenders after the abduction and killing of Marie-Christine Hodeau.

The 42-year-old, who lived alone with her elderly mother, was snatched on Monday morning while out for her regular jog in a forest south of Paris. Just after 9am, she called police on her mobile phone from the boot of a car, saying she had been grabbed by a man with a knife. She gave the car’s number plate, but the call was suddenly interrupted.
