We are all “extremists” now
The ludicrous statement to Parliament this week by Michael Gove listed the British National Socialist Movement (better known as British Movement) and Patriotic Alternative as examples of “extremist” groups to be covered by his new official definition.
However, since the purpose of this new definition is for government to restrict its engagement with and funding of such “extremist” organisations, it seems most unlikely that including BM or PA will have any practical effect. Neither organisation is known for links to government!
The biggest danger is not from this week’s statement (which in itself is pretty meaningless so far as racial nationalism is concerned), but rather from its broader implications. It is just another sign of the direction in which official policy is moving, as governments around the “democratic” world panic at the self-evident failure of the post-1945 multiracial experiment.
(In 2021 during the earliest parliamentary discussions of a new legal definition of “harmful extremism”, the influential pressure group ‘Hacked Off’ highlighted H&D as the prime example of “online harm” that had managed to stay within the law. We reported these developments in this article more than two years ago: Gove’s announcement can be seen as a further move along the lines that were already discernible then.)
British Movement was founded by Colin Jordan in 1968 after his earlier party – the National Socialist Movement – was wound down due to legal problems. Today’s General Secretary of BM – Stephen Frost – was one of the leaders of a group of national socialists who kept the movement alive, in association with Colin Jordan, when it was in danger of being destroyed by Michael McLaughlin.
Today BM keeps the ideological flame of national socialism burning brightly, and is involved in a wide range of social and cultural activities. The movement is especially closely involved in the racial nationalist music scene.
Patriotic Alternative was formed in 2019 and has held a series of high quality conferences, in addition to taking the lead in numerous demonstrations around the UK, especially in relation to the scandal of ‘asylum seekers’ / illegal immigrants being housed at vast expense in British hotels.
PA’s Yorkshire organiser Sam Melia was recently jailed for the ‘crime’ of distributing stickers that draw attention to the failings of the multiracial society. This outrageous conviction has become 2024’s most widely publicised case of political repression in the ‘democratic’ world.
Gove’s announcement will remind historians of the “purge” procedure instituted by Attlee’s postwar Labour government and its “anti-subversion” cabinet committee GEN 183. This treated “fascists”, who by 1947 were a very marginal group in the UK, alongside communists.
Both sets of “extremists” were to be excluded from certain jobs, in government or sensitive industries. The “far right” then as now was used as a figleaf, so that the government couldn’t be accused of witch-hunting communists then, and Muslims now.
In a broader context, unaffected by Gove’s announcement which in itself changes nothing for nationalists, British patriots and their European allies remain targeted by an array of repressive measures, as Sam Melia, Vincent Reynouard and our own European correspondent Isabel Peralta have discovered.
We know – and we expect Michael Gove also knows (though he refuses to admit it) – who the real extremists and terrorists are. The terrorists’ best friend in Parliament – Jeremy Corbyn – has, not coincidentally, been among the most vocal advocates of persecuting “fascists”.
We are undaunted by repression. We will continue to fight back against all efforts to criminalise our ideas. We will continue to demonstrate that allegations of “inciting violence” are a travesty. We stand for civilisation against the barbarism and crookedness of Gove’s world.
“Extremism” in the defence of our race is not a crime. It is a duty.
Remembering Four Great British Nationalists – H&D Annual Meeting salutes Derek Beackon, Andrew Brons, Sir Oswald Mosley and Ian Stuart
On 9th September in the Lancashire village of Samlesbury, just to the east of Preston, over 80 nationalists – mainly from the North-West and Yorkshire – attended the annual H&D meeting. Over the past fifteen years or so H&D have hosted cross-party memorial meetings in and around Preston and that tradition continued.
This year the meeting was entitled “Honour the Past – Conquer the Future” and we honoured four great British nationalists, Derek Beackon, Andrew Brons, Sir Oswald Mosley and Ian Stuart Donaldson.
Despite the best efforts of the Lancashire Post, the Preston Blog, Labour Party, SWP, Red Flare (a nutty online Marxist Republican group) and local LGBTQ+ loons to stop it, H&D‘s annual meeting went ahead as planned, with no serious problems. All credit to Lancashire Police who respected our right to hold a legal political meeting in our free and democratic society and did not interfere with it.
While we were holding our successful 80 strong meeting in a first-class hotel in the beautiful Lancashire countryside, the loony lefties could only muster twenty-one (yes 21!) to their pathetic demonstration on Lune Street, many miles away in Preston city-centre! How ironic the loonies holding their demo on Lune Street!
Chaired by former NF and BNP organiser, and longstanding H&D subscriber Keith Axon, the meeting got underway with the traditional one minute’s silence for all the H&D subscribers who had passed away since our last meeting in September 2022, including Mr Ian Lofthouse, Dr. Roger Pearson, Mr K.D. Russell, Mr M. Sharp, Mr Ken Stead and Mr. P. Trelawney.
For only the second time we had two women speakers. This was one of many aspects of this year’s meeting that both on the panel and in the audience (over 20% were female) showed the increasing diversity of European nationalism.
Also, for only the second time we had two overseas speakers; H&D‘s European correspondent Isabel Peralta, who overcame another detention by UK Border Force at Manchester Airport; and Ken Schmidt H&D‘s American correspondent, who thankfully entered the UK without any problems.
Our Spanish and American guests were delighted to meet so many excellent new comrades from all over Great Britain, especially the large delegations from the British Movement and Patriotic Alternative.
After Keith Axon’s opening remarks, he introduced the first speaker of the afternoon; Benny Bullman, a British Movement activist, and the lead singer of the RAC band Whitelaw. Benny gave a fine tribute to the founder of Blood & Honour, Ian Stuart, who was born 66 years ago in the Lancashire town of Poulton-le-Fylde. It’s 30 years now since his death in 1993, but Benny emphasised that great comrades such as Ian Stuart still live with us in spirit, and we are all determined to be worthy of their legacy.
Our second speaker was Professor John Kersey, educationalist and musician, who leads several international university-level institutions dedicated to bespoke professional education for high achievers, gave a cogent analysis of the burgeoning threats to traditional British values and freedoms – and to the Christian values that are the bedrock of British and European civilization. The dictatorial grip of the political establishment is at last being resisted: the forces of resistance are no longer marginalised – our agenda of maintaining and restoring British traditions is now at the centre of political debate.
Our third speaker was Laura Towler, deputy leader of Patriotic Alternative. Laura talked both about Sir Oswald Mosley – this being the 75th anniversary since he formed his Union Movement, after the end of WWII in 1948 – and Patriotic Alternative, which for the past four years has been fighting to get across the message that White Lives Matter – across a broad front of activities from demonstrations to leafletting, mountain hikes to tea retailing! PA has grown rapidly in its four years of existence. Despite the setbacks of the Electoral Commission constantly rejecting their applications to register as a political party, the PA has combined some of the best veterans of older nationalist parties with a proven ability to attract the best of the younger online nationalist community.
Just before the lunch break, Keith Axon and meeting organiser Mark Cotterill auctioned off a number of books, a George Lincoln Rockwell magazine, framed photographs, Ulster flags and a Whitelaw LP that had been donated by H&D subscribers. The auction raised over £300.
The meeting was then adjourned for a twenty-minute lunch break. An excellent buffet was provided by the BM’s Women’s Division, who as always put on a fine spread.
Keith Axon then opened the second part of the meeting and introduced the afternoon’s fourth speaker Dr. Jim Lewthwaite, an archaeologist and former Bradford city councillor, now chairman of the British Democrats. His speech was based around Nigel Biggar’s new book Colonialism: A Moral Reckoning – which was reviewed in Issue 115 of H&D. Jim talked about the positive side of the British Empire, as well as slavery and how the British were the first of the major powers of the time to ban it. The British Democrats are now beginning to attract significant numbers of experienced activists as well as those new to electoral politics, however their results at this year’s council elections were disappointing.
Our fifth speaker of the afternoon was Isabel Peralta (speaking in Spanish with an English translation being read by Peter Rushton): she explained that the NS revolution did not end with the defeat at Berlin in 1945, and that faith in the true European cause was capable of moving mountains. She spoke of the great Spartan army, led by Leonidas, whose 300 Spartans stood fast and fought to the death against the mighty 200,000 strong Persian Army at the Battle of Thermopylae in 480 BC. The Spartans showed the true spirit of Europe that we again need now.
The spirit of unity in the real Europe which Isabel spoke about, will soon be reflected in stronger connections between European nationalists – keep checking our website and magazine for details!
Our sixth speaker was Stephen Frost: National Secretary of the British Movement, longstanding friend of Colin Jordan and author of the Colin Jordan biography ‘TWAS A GOOD FIGHT’! He acknowledged that our movement of resistance to multicultural decay is a ‘broad church’ of patriots, not all of whom by any means are national socialists (as represented by BM and Colin Jordan’s earlier organisations). Yet as he emphasised, BM has always been prepared to lend its support to sincere comrades from other groups and parties – at demonstrations, election campaigns and at meetings such as this one. He said the task of all nationalists is to spread propaganda for our cause by any and every means and format: whether old-school with hard copy leaflets and newspapers or by more modern means using the internet including social media. The propaganda war is bringing increasing numbers to realisation of the essential truth of our values.
Just before the second break of the afternoon H&D Editor Mark Cotterill held the raffle, ably assisted by one of the young ladies who were manning the H&D merchandise stall. There were around thirty raffle prizes this year – again all kindly donated by H&D subscribers.
Keith Axon then opened the third and final part of the meeting and introduced the afternoon’s seventh speaker Ken Schmidt. Ken has been an activist and writer in the American nationalist movement since the 1980s. He writes a regular column in H&D entitled “From the other side of the Pond”. He is now a member of the League of the South, although he is now living back in the north – in New Jersey.
He spoke firstly about Donald Trump and the US presidential election and then about how the USA as a country is breaking up due to multi-racialism/culturalism. And then about the various movements who support secession and the break-up of the USA as the only long-term solution if White people are to have any future in North America.
Our eighth speaker was Mark Collett, the former chairman of the young BNP, director of publicity and editor of the BNP magazine Identity. Mark is the leader of Patriotic Alternative which he formed in September 2019. Mark has been an active nationalist since the turn of the century and is the most debanked person in the UK! The PA is the fastest growing nationalist organisation in Great Britain and holds regular activities and events every single week. Mark’s speech was about his ten years inside the BNP, working his way up from the very bottom to the very top – what the BNP did right and what they did wrong, and how modern-day nationalists can learn from their mistakes.
Be sure to check this website in a few days time so that you can see videos of our event’s speeches, including Mark’s excellent insight into our movement’s recent history, which conveys important lessons for a new generation of activists.
Our ninth and final speaker of the afternoon was Peter Rushton: H&D‘s Assistant Editor and webmaster, historian, author of the new Real History Blog, and TV commentator. In his speech concluding the event, Peter mocked those ludicrous fake leftists who (with lavish funding from the usual suspects) had set out to stop our meeting. They had pulled out all the stops to defeat us, not because they feared “terrorism”, but because they feared the truth. “Anti-fascists” and their useful idiots (some of whom call themselves “nationalists”) spend most of their time spreading foul slanders (including against some of our guest speakers), but we carry on regardless with the task of rebuilding the true Britain and the true Europe.
This is the legacy of the four men whom we honoured at this event. If the authorities or the anti-fascists wished to talk about terrorists, Peter said, we were very happy to do so. We are happy to talk about the Zionist terrorists who bombed London, one of the worst of whom is still alive in Paris and untouched by the British counter-terrorist squad, who prefer to carry out political harassment of H&D writers such as Isabel, Peter and Mark. And we are happy to talk about the IRA terrorists to whom Conservative and Labour governments alike have betrayed our nation.
We should be in no doubt, Peter concluded, that reactionary Conservative capitalists are an even worse enemy than the so-called “Left” – the Tweedledum and Tweedledee whom Mosley ridiculed decades ago. Soon after the arrival of the Windrush in the 1940s, Labour MPs had warned about the consequences of mass non-White immigration, using language that would nowadays lead to them being raided by police. Peter thanked Mark Cotterill and his colleagues who have to remain nameless, for making this excellent event possible. He said he was proud to be fighting alongside his fellow speakers and audience members – drawn from many different groups and tendencies within the racial nationalist family – confident in the ultimate victory of our race and civilisation.
H&D editor Mark Cotterill ended the meeting by thanking everybody who helped organise the event and those in the audience who had made the effort to attend, some travelling considerable distances, including two from the USA, Germany and Spain.
Before the meeting and during the two intervals our audience browsed the many literature/merchandise stalls. Apart from the H&D table there were stalls from British Movement, Candour, Patriotic Alternative, The Supplement, Historical Review Press and Yorkshire Forum.
The evening before the meeting we held a social in a nice city centre pub, and after the meeting we returned back to the very same pub, as the landlord (an ex-squaddie himself) was so welcoming the first night, we thought we would give him another evening’s business! Around twenty nationalists attended both socials, some staying until just after 1am on the Saturday – a few sore heads on Sunday morning were reported!
And finally, special thanks again to the British Movement Women’s Division who provided an excellent buffet; and to the British Movement Leader Guard who carried out security duties in their usual highly efficient manner to ensure that our speakers and audience were entirely safe from the loonies of Lune Street, had they been able to afford the bus fare up to Samlesbury – which of course they could not!
Hopefully we can hold another similar event next year, maybe in a different part of the country, but only time will tell.
Sunak’s Tories start 2023 in deep trouble – but Reform UK’s challenge is weaker than it looks
Five opinion polls have been taken since Christmas, and all show Rishi Sunak’s government in deep trouble with British voters. Traditionally the Tories might expect to benefit from industrial unrest: strikes famously helped Margaret Thatcher win her first general election in 1979 and weakened Labour in the run-up to her third victory in 1987. But Sunak seems to be failing in his main (political) task of restoring the Conservative Party’s reputation for economic competence.
From H&D readers’ point of view, the big question is whether a civic nationalist party is capable of making the sort of breakthrough that Nigel Farage’s parties achieved during the 2010s: first UKIP, and then the Brexit Party – making such an impact that the Tories were forced to allow British voters a referendum on EU membership in 2016, then forced to deliver Brexit against the wishes of most Tory grandees.
For reasons we have examined repeatedly in the magazine (and which we re-examine in the January-February 2023 edition that has just gone to press) Farage’s latest (and probably last) party, Reform UK, does not seem capable of achieving similar results.
Reform UK (presently led by Farage’s right-hand man Richard Tice) has failed badly at six successive parliamentary by-elections (most recently polling 2.7% in Chester and 3.5% in Stretford & Urmston). None of these lost deposits suggest that its nationwide opinion poll scores (much hyped by some academics and by the GB News channel where Farage has a regular show) are anywhere near accurate.
The most recent polls differ widely in this respect: for example the new company People Polling (commissioned by GB News) gave Reform UK 8%, and showed Sunak’s Tories falling to just 19%, 26 points behind the Labour Party; while a rival firm Redfield Wilton gave Reform UK 5%, but again showed the Tories losing heavily, this time 20 points behind Labour. Three other polls taken during the first week of 2023 show Labour leads of 21% or 22%, with Reform UK scoring anywhere between 4% and 8%.
Part of the explanation for this disparity might be straightforward, involving: (a) prompting of voters with the name of Reform UK included in the initial question, rather than held back for a supplementary question; and (b) a different method of adjusting the raw figures, taking less account of previous voting preference. Most pollsters use this method in an attempt to tease out ‘shy Tories’; if People Polling do not, or use it less radically, it could account for their lower Tory and higher Reform and Green vote shares.
Whatever the technical reason, H&D would be very surprised to see Reform UK poll higher than 2% of the nationwide vote at a general election. For ideological and other reasons, Faragism is finished as a serious political force. If Farage himself stands, then he along with Tice and a handful of others might manage 10% or more and (most crucially) help push the Tories to defeat in a small number of marginal seats, but in most of the country Reform UK will remain an irrelevance.
Which leaves the big question – if not Farage and Reform UK, then who and what will present the badly needed challenge to the UK’s failing political mainstream.
Recent polls suggest that 20% or more of those who voted Conservative at the last general election three years ago are now answering “Don’t Know”. Even the People Polling survey that seems to exaggerate Reform UK’s strength suggests that it is taking 12% of that previous Conservative vote, and little or nothing from the other parties; while 17% of those Tory voters have switched to Labour.
Sunak might yet win back some of those ‘Don’t Knows’, but many of them ought to be persuadable by a credible racial nationalist party (if and when such a party gets off the ground).
The British Democrats presently seem to be the best organised and most realistic option for those seeking a racial nationalist challenge at the ballot box, but even they are only just getting started in most of the country. 2023 will be an important transitional year for our movement, as Faragism is finally buried and the Brit Dems gradually build up a nationwide branch structure. Meanwhile Patriotic Alternative is building a broader political challenge away from the electoral arena (PA is not yet a registered political party and shows no sign of becoming one); the British Movement continues to maintain the core ideology that exposes the roots of British and European decline since 1945; and the National Front keeps the flame alive for the first UK party to present a serious electoral challenge to multiracialism during the 1970s.
Whatever nationalist party or group you belong to, or if for the time being you are working independently for our cause, H&D wishes you an active and successful New Year!
Yorkshire Forum 19th February 2022 – an attendee’s observations
The following is not so much a report on the recent Yorkshire Forum as a personal celebration of those valiant spokesmen.
Yesterday, like the once-true Royal Mail motto – ‘be through rain, hail, or shine we deliver’ – true-grit attendees of the Yorkshire Forum literally skated their vehicles through the snow-iced streets to Bradford for its post-lockdown comeback. There, four patriotic groups gathered. Disdaining all distracting “divide and conquer” factional vanities, these men, women, plus one discreet baby’s political debut(!) brought, foremost, their concern for “Our Home” – our ancestral homeland whose racial survival is turning bleaker and blacker with every alien mass-invaders’ shipload.
The calibre and character of each speaker was equal to his capacity to project a political stance in accessible mode and dignified manner. Handsome, forthright, heartening!
Chairing the gathering was Dr. James Lewthwaite (a Cambridge graduate archaeologist skilled in forensic digging – an asset for a political truth analyst (!); and a proven Bradford vote-winning former Councillor).
Attending were three former BNP Councillors. Guests travelled from far and wide: from London, Mid-Wales, North Wales, Chester, Stoke on Trent, Hull, Wakefield, Leeds and of course Bradford.
Mr. Steve Crosby (from Belfast) spoke first on Direct Democracy. He offered the Swiss model as a stimulus for the British to consider. This veteran community negotiator presented a short video about how Swiss referendum take three forms: 1. popular initiatives, which are citizen proposals to create a new law and require 100,000 valid signatures on a petition to get on the ballot; 2. facultative or optional referendums, which are citizen proposals to approve or reject a piece of existing law and require 50,000 valid signatures on a petition to get on the ballot; and 3. mandatory referendums which are required to revise the Constitution, join an international organisation or introduce emergency federal legislation.
Mr. Crosby’s point was that in this Swiss system its direct seeking of the People’s opinions placed their concerns foremost as opposed to the “Muppets” as he referred to those whom the general public increasingly despise as puppets who, once elected, act as “saboteurs” of a nation’s best interests. The problem remains (I interjected) of how to undermine the enormously funded and powerful Lobbies who monopolise and tyrannise public opinion and education outlets. With twist-speak they knot, mock, and knock the stuffing out of people, not only their well-heeled, toe-cringeing sock-puppets!
As in the nature of a Forum, energised discussion and cordial objections raised from the floor were welcomed by the admirable chairman Dr. James Lewthwaite (of the British Democrats). Mr. Mike Whitby (of British Voice – a platform speaker later but at this time from the floor) advanced the fact that in our ancient Constitution and Common Law we already have such methods which have been “forgotten”. He called for our people to learn more about them and how to deploy these effectively. Dr. Lewthwaite enjoined that such an age-old legal contingency had been available to the BNP’s disgraced former leader Nick Griffin but that despite his legal background, he failed to raise it in a case when it could have re-established a powerful precedent.
Dr. Lewthwaite went on to accredit Mr. Crosby’s magnanimous humility when he stood down during a city council election in order to bolster the chances of a similar interest’s Party, by not splitting the vote. This demonstration of intelligent political coordination for the greater strength gained essentially in a common cause had me unable to contain my applause! A valuable lesson for traditionalist and nationalist Groups who have often lacked interest in coordinating the dates of their events which effectively means patriots take self-defeatingly divisive sides without chance to hear the others!
Mr. Crosby’s rolemodel proved (in my view) the late British philosopher Roger Scruton’s description of “the British genius for compromise”. Mr. Whitby educated one young person from the floor that it’s not a matter of 40-60 years hence when we shall be racially outnumbered but already we are at the 11th hour! This is true at least since Dr. Scruton in 2001 concerning the immigration crisis had declared “Robin Cook wants us to deny our national identity” and that “there is no such race as the British, Robin Cook tells us”; such politicians “they want sovereignty, loyalty, and territory to be things of the past. Their world is one of international bureaucracies, stateless quangos, and rootless elites”. Such a politician could be well-described (by Mr. Crosby) as a “saboteur”.
Alas Britain’s once popular philosopher did not acknowledge the legendary commonsense spoken in 1968 by the Rt. Hon. J. Enoch Powell who clarified that “in the early 1950s there were fewer than 100,000 non-whites in Britain”. He spoke up as a true patriot yet was pariahed for this intelligence. By 2001, Dr. Scruton noted that “now we are asked [indeed were NOT asked!] to absorb 100,000 or more [in 2022 more like one million alien invaders] every year, without border controls or any proof of loyalty to, or even respect for the institutions of our country”.
Yet, frankly I must admit that until then the Canadian Free Expression veteran CAFE campaigner and comrade Paul Fromm suggested that at the word “race”, it would have been the case that I’d think he meant the racing at Royal Ascot!! Appalling but true! All this stealthy conquest through immigration I had recognised by 2001 whereby the HQ for World Zionism had “disappeared the indigenous population” in Palestine. Yet this same phenomena had not yet penetrated my otherwise non-political outlook regarding the race replacement in my own Homeland! Why was that? Scruton nailed that elusive public information when he stated “we live in a climate of fear, in which the most important question confronting the British people – the security of their borders and the loyalty within them – is subject to a strict regime of censorship”. I do not recall hearing anything about that eminent influencer daring to embolden the British people to show up at a nationalist Party rally. What a dunce when it counts! This philosopher defines the “problem”, the “threat”, the “loyalty”, yet was a dolt compared to the doughty attendees at the Yorkshire Forum!
Hats off to all those leafleteers who, rain, hail, or shine, delivered their sterling true alert. The “no-kneeling” leaflet by the British Democrats emboldens those inertia-sunk to rise with common sense (phoenix akin the flag-logo of The British Voice) to say: “No to cancel culture and woke tyranny – their agenda is to destroy our cultural heritage and disgrace our historical achievements”.
The historic stall was well set out by the next speaker Mr. Michael Whitby (of The British Voice). He reminded us that the individual’s mind and body is sovereign, not a human right awarded by any government or “the science”. That our national DNA has changed by just over 5% over 12,000 years. And that we can rely when invoking our protective rights, if only we knew to draw on two and a half thousand years of still extant Common Law and Constitution to say respectfully “I don’t consent” when we are not guilty if arrested for a projected thought crime.
Forensic proof is offered in his well-presented leaflets:
The 2006 book Blood of the Isles, by Bryan Sykes, Professor of Human Genetics at Oxford University, confirmed the result of his team’s ten year study of 50,000 DNA samples from the indigenous British people from all corners of the British Isles. Comparisons were made between those recent samples and that of The Cheddar Man and earlier evidence up to 12,000 years ago.
The results proved that, despite all the claims of “invasions” and that we Britons are a so-called “race of mongrels”, our DNA has only changed by an overall average of just 5% over 12,000 years! The above, added to our peoples proven longevity of 33,000 years, by virtue of ‘The Red “Lady” of Paviland’ (South Wales) proves beyond any doubt that we are amongst the oldest indigenous peoples of the world!
And that we can rely, if only we knew to draw on two and a half thousand years of Common Law to say “No consent” when we are not guilty for a projected thought crime.
The final speaker was Alek Yerbury (from West Yorkshire Region Patriotic Alternative). He amplified how we had “forgotten” that “to unify is unconquerable”, but that “our People who have never been defeated in the last three hundred years can only be tricked into believing they have no power”. His soldierly stance suggested a disciplined approach. I regret we ran out of time before I thought to ask him if he agreed with the Swiss one year’s mandatory military service for every Swiss citizen as highlighted in Mr. Crosby’s talk. To learn to serve in any capacity involving due community service for one’s homeland seems to be an invaluable method to cultivate respect for all labour and levels of contribution to what brings about one’s sense of belonging, sharing and defining us with pride as a grassroots grateful Nation.
The suggestion from Mr. Whitby was a winner for me when he proposed that groups should maintain their identity but that all coordinate together (under a come rain or shine umbrella) called the National Patriot Movement. It’s a now call for the People to stand firm to save themselves from predictable white/black manufactured civil war, coming upon us no longer later – but soon. This mass-manipulation is underway already in our BLM-only life time!
Bravo to the Yorkshire Forum !
No cowering, no surrender,

PS Before closing the meeting, the chairman Dr. Lewthwaite invited me to commemorate those comrades who had passed away last year, Mr. John Bean, Mr. Kevin Stafford, Mr. Richard Edmonds and others.
I knew Richard Edmonds very well as a hero to both his British and German comrades who always honoured our finest historian Mr. David Irving. With his facility in German, Richard frequently cited his hero when giving speeches at rallies and at German memorials for their soldiers and civilians.
A former school teacher, qualified engineer, and strenuous historical revisionist, this prize-winning orator always stressed that not all Britons during the world wars were duped. The British People were misled by warmonger Winston Churchill – the drunken traitor and neurotic anti-“Hun” who kept from public knowledge all of Germany’s genuine peace offerings which would have ended (and never begun) the senseless killing off of our best and bravest on both sides of this Anglo-Saxon brothers’ war. “Allies = All lies” was wit-and-pith Richard’s apt refrain!
Two days before our national treasure died on 23rd December 2020, he had translated a Yuletide poem written by Berlin attorney RA Wolfram Nahrath (who so successfully defended me and British honour in Dresden). When I mentioned this translation to Attorney Nahrath he texted: “An honour for me”. In turn Richard was deeply gratified at this mutual respect from Germany’s foremost defender of persecuted real history champions. I believe our British lion died, not mehling about cats-paw anti-gentiles, but with his magnificent race and nation foremost on his mind. Richard Edmonds, our great nationalist role-model, scholar and gentleman lives on in treasured legend.
Long Live the British grace and character of Richard Edmonds!
Many thanks to Mr Tony Avery for photographs – H&D understands that a video of the event will in due course be available and we shall post a link
Obituary – Stanley Oliver Webb
We recently heard of the sad death of Stan Webb (known affectionately as “Webbie” by his many friends and comrades), who was the chairman of Worcester British Movement branch in the early 1980s (H&D editor Mark Cotterill was the BM branch organiser at the time). Stan stood as BM election candidate twice in local council elections in Worcester: in Nunnery ward – which was a by-election, where he polled 1.1% – and in Claines ward in the main May elections – where he polled 1.3% (Mark was his election agent on both occasions).
These were not great votes by any standard, however it raised the profile of the BM in Worcester, and brought in new members, as a result of the election leaflets and publicity in the local newspaper and radio station.
Stan was born in the late 1950s, and had a hard start in life, being raised by grandmother and uncle in the St. Stephens area of Worcester, from being a baby to his late teens. He attended Bishop Perowne Church of England School (the same as Mark) and went on to have a successful career as a removal man, with Pickfords. He had a keen interest in politics and history from an early age. He flirted with the NF in the mid 1970s but was put off by what he claimed was their “anti-Europe attitude” and “narrow minded nationalism,” so I guess the BM was his natural home at the time.
Sadly Stan was a heavy drinker, and could be found most evenings inside one of Worcester’s many Banks’s pubs which probably shortened his life and was his eventual downfall.
H&D offers our thoughts, prayers and condolences to his family.
Successful Pan-Nationalist Day of Action in Leeds
On Saturday 18th September a joint nationalist day of action was held in Yorkshire’s biggest city – Leeds – with activists from both the British Movement and Patriotic Alternative, holding a number of flash demonstrations against the flood of immigrants – mainly young male so-called asylum seekers and refugees into the city.
A number of big hotels in Leeds have simply closed their doors to the great British public, and given themselves completely over to economic migrants. Then news reached the local BM branch, that a number of other hotels in the city had been “commandeered” by the Home Office for exclusive use by Afghans (as has happened in other cities all over England).
The hotels in Leeds included the Holiday Inn at Garforth; the Gateway Hotel in Micklefield and the Mercury Hotel in Bramham. The Holiday Inn, has now cancelled all “normal” bookings until December 9th, in the hope that the local council will have rehoused the migrants by then, so they can re-open for the lucrative pre Christmas trade.
This was the second successful day of action organised by Leeds BM at very short notice – the first on August 7th, was reported in the “Movement News” pages of H&D #104 (September-October 2021) which was published earlier this month. The day included leafleting and noisy flash demonstrations outside a couple of the hotels mentioned above, and short speeches by BM and PA representatives.
Congratulations to everybody (including a number of H&D subscribers) who attended the pan-nationalist day of action in Leeds. It is hoped that more such demonstrations will now take place in other parts of the country.

Nationalist veteran Ken Kelly dies aged 90
One of the most controversial nationalist activists in North West England has died aged 90.
Ken Kelly had been involved in British Movement, the National Front, BNP, and then NF again at various times since the 1970s, living in Bamford, near Rochdale.
Almost forty years ago he was implicated by Searchlight informant Ray Hill for his illegal dealing in guns and ammunition. Now that Mr Kelly is dead, H&D can confirm that on this occasion the ‘anti-fascist’ press was not lying!
Mr Kelly and his late BM comrade Pete Brawley did indeed have access to a surprising range of weapons, including former British Army kit that had been ‘deactivated’ but then ‘reactivated’.
He also played a part in the tragic series of events that eventually led to the death of a British Army veteran, the brave and intelligent nationalist Chris Barker, whose experiences on several tours of active service in Ulster led to what was eventually diagnosed as combat stress (PTSD), with consequent alcohol and drug problems.
Chris got himself into debt with an unscrupulous Manchester gangster who (knowing that he was an ex-serviceman) said he could discharge the debt by obtaining an untraceable firearm. The gun was duly obtained – from Ken Kelly – and was used in an internal gangland feud.
A consequence of all this was that Chris Barker had to flee across the Pennines to Sheffield, where he fell into further bad company and died aged 43 in 2001.
By this time Ken Kelly was active in Rochdale BNP and remained a supporter of Nick Griffin’s leadership for several years, though hated by Chris Barker’s family and friends who were also longstanding nationalists and opposed to Griffin. The very first event that H&D editor Mark Cotterill attended (with his then wife Jenny) after returning to the UK in November 2002 was with Ken Kelly and then BNP regional organiser Chris Jackson.
Eventually Ken Kelly left the BNP to rejoin the NF alongside his closest friend in the movement (during his last twenty years), eventual NF chairman Kevin Bryan. Throughout his time in nationalism Ken was a generous donor to nationalist causes, never afraid to put his hand in his pocket (putting some younger comrades to shame) and turning out for activities even as the movement’s numbers began another temporary decline about a decade ago.
Even in his mid-80s Ken Kelly travelled down to London to march to the Cenotaph with fellow NF members. His record in the movement will always remain controversial, but he was one of the last links to an earlier era when it was seriously believed that nationalists would need to arm themselves for race war – a far cry from today’s lunatic online posturing and autistic ‘terrorists’.
Eddy Morrison 1949-2020
H&D greatly regret to announce the death of Eddy Morrison: proud Yorkshireman, veteran national socialist and a contributor to our magazine for many years. Eddy died on Wednesday following a fall at his home, a month before his 71st birthday which would have been 16th July.
A reprint of Eddy’s 2003 autobiography Memoirs of a Street Soldier was being launched to coincide with his birthday, but very sadly it now coincides with his death.
Educated at St Michael’s College, a Catholic grammar school in Leeds, Eddy Morrison had to leave school at 15 to earn a wage and support his family after his father was crippled in an industrial accident. Following teenage service with the RAF, he became an active racial nationalist in 1967 with the newly formed National Front, attending the NF’s first annual meeting at Conway Hall, Westminster in October that year. Though he had a great deal in common ideologically with the NF’s future leader John Tyndall, Eddy had been too young to be involved in the national socialist schisms of the early ’60s, so he was able to join the NF as an 18-year-old without any factional baggage.
In 1968 he succeeded Phil Stone as the NF’s Leeds branch organiser. Though he was to be a member – and indeed founder! – of numerous different parties and movements, Eddy’s ideology was to remain consistent for more than half a century. As he put it, he regarded national socialism and White racial nationalism as interchangeable terms.
In fact though he would often joke about the myriad organisations he had joined or founded, this is very much a reflection of our movement’s history. Unlike some other leading movement personalities such as Nick Griffin, Eddy did not blow with the prevailing wind, changing his ideological colours to suit personal advancement. Eddy remained Eddy.
In 1972 Eddy organised the Leeds branch of Colin Jordan’s British Movement, breaking away at the end of 1973 with a small group who formed the National Democratic Freedom Movement. Essentially Yorkshire-based, the NDFM quickly attracted a reputation for highly effective street activity. At a time when political violence was commonplace throughout the White world – often with the far left gaining the upper hand – Eddy’s street soldiers made much of West Yorkshire a “red-free zone”.
During 1975 the NDFM expanded, as Eddy recruited other national socialists from outside Yorkshire to expand the movement into a new British National Party. Though he was also to become a prominent organiser in John Tyndall’s BNP a few years later, this 1970s version was a completely different party.
During this period John Tyndall was engaged in a struggle for control of the NF, for a time losing the leadership to a Strasserite/populist faction led by former Conservative activist John Kingsley Read, so Eddy’s BNP attracted support from numerous national socialists who had quit the NF during this period.
The Morrison BNP continued and built on the NDFM’s fearsome reputation for taking control of the streets. It also became part of a growing national socialist network in Europe. German attorney Manfred Roeder was guest speaker at the BNP’s annual congress.
Once John Tyndall and Martin Webster had re-established control of the NF, it wasn’t long before Eddy Morrison and his BNP were invited to merge into the Front, and Eddy became the NF’s Yorkshire regional organiser. This period coincided with the international phenomenon of ‘punk rock’, in which Eddy had taken an early interest, attending early punk gigs including memorable appearances by the Sex Pistols in Manchester and Leeds.
He was quick to see the potential of this angry movement of working class rebellion (though of course it shocked more ‘respectable’ nationalists). As Eddy later wrote:
We either had to condemn Punk or use it. I chose the latter option and started a spoof fanzine called Punk Front which featured a NF logo with a safety pin in it. To my great surprise, Punk Front was a huge success and soon, especially in Leeds, NF members and supporters were going to the biggest Punk club around — the infamous F Club. I started to regularly go to the club and NF Punks were recruiting other punks. In a few months, the NF was the dominant political force on the big punk scene in Leeds. Music papers such as Sounds and the New Musical Express were taking an interest in us. Gary Bushell was sent up to look into the phenomenon. We had pro-NF letters published in many music papers and other punks started bringing out pro-NF fanzines. We even started two bands — the Ventz and the Dentists. Both these bands were to feature later on in the start of ‘Rock Against Communism.’
Eddy Morrison could justifiably claim to have been the founder of the White racial nationalist music scene, which was later to expand under the late Ian Stuart into Blood & Honour.
Around the time of Eddy’s 30th birthday in 1979, British nationalism had one of its watershed moments when the National Front began to fall apart following disappointing election results. A large part of the last forty years of Eddy Morrison’s life was to involve his attempts to navigate treacherous political waters and maintain uncompromising national socialism in the UK.
This included years of activism in the BNP and later NF, punctuated by attempts to form breakaway movements such as the National Action Party, White Nationalist Party and British People’s Party. At other times Eddy attempted to build cross-factional alliances, and at one stage was a leading figure in the Spearhead Support Group, formed to build support for John Tyndall in his quest to recapture the BNP from Nick Griffin.
In these many activities Eddy could count on a loyal cadre of supporters, notably his Bradford-based comrade Kev Watmough – and it’s fair to say that Eddy was shocked to have outlived numerous fellow streetfighters such as Dave Brown and Chris ‘Weasel’ Ledger.
Latterly Eddy published the online magazine White Voice, as well as contributing to H&D – both as author, reviewer and quizmaster at social events! It is impossible in one brief online article to encompass the life of this uncompromising national socialist warrior, and for obvious reasons we have avoided speaking about Eddy’s family, of whom he was so proud and who will miss him greatly.
Needless to say, the next edition of H&D will contain a full obituary of our friend and comrade Eddy Morrison.
Cattle die, and kinsmen die. And so one dies oneself. One thing I know that never dies: The fame of a dead man’s deeds
14/88 Eddy!
Successful CJ / JT Memorial Meeting held in Leeds
This year’s John Tyndall Memorial Meeting was again held in Leeds (for the second year running) on Saturday November 23rd.
However, this year it was a joint Colin Jordan and John Tyndall Memorial meeting and was organised by the British Movement.
Heritage and Destiny were kindly invited to attend, and H&D deputy editor Peter Rushton was one of the main speakers, while editor Mark Cotterill manned the H&D literature table.
The attendance of around sixty (including three former Borough councillors – Dr. Jim Lewthwaite (Wyke ward, Bradford); Angela Clarke (Keighley West ward, Bradford); and Mark Cotterill (Meadowhead ward, Blackburn); and one former MEP, Andrew Brons (Yorkshire & Humber) – was very impressive. Most of those attending were BM members, but also half a dozen British Democrats, and a couple each from the National Front and English Democrats, plus the H&D team.
The speakers included: Richard Edmonds (NF Directorate member, former BNP national organiser, and right-hand man to John Tyndall); Benny Bullman (long standing BM member and lead singer of the Nationalist band Whitelaw); Dr. Jim Lewthwaite (the chairman of the British Democrats); Andrew Brons (former MEP for Yorkshire); Peter Rushton (H&D deputy editor); Alec Suchi (nationalist climate change activist); and Steve Frost (BM National Secretary).
The meeting which was ably chaired by Tony (a local BM member of longstanding), was the second successful Leeds meeting in the same venue this year, and hopefully more will follow in the new year.
During the first interval a superb buffet of both hot and cold food, was laid on, by the BM’s Women’s Division. And during the second interval an auction of classic national socialist memorabilia was held, raising several hundred pounds for BM funds.
Both the BM and H&D had literature stalls which did a brisk trade throughout the afternoon, with H&D picking up a couple of new subscribers on top – which is always good.
As at most nationalist events, there was no trouble at all at the meeting, which was held in a good old-fashioned Yorkshire pub, in a White working-class area of Leeds – not the sort of the pub the posh yuppies from Hope Not Hate or Antifa would ever set foot in! But if they had they would have been met by a large BM security team – led by Jordan Pont – who were more than capable of showing them the door – if they had dared turn up!
BM produced a nice souvenir programme of the event. Copies are still available by writing to PO Box 6, Heckmondwike, Yorkshire, WF16 0XG; or email – sunwheelteam@gmail.com – or visit the BM website at – www.britishmovement.info
